I appreciate more and more the simplicity and the neat cut of a jewel. Probably because I like the way the conjunction of metals and gemstones is highlighted through basic geometric forms.
Take the collection of Angela Hübel’s rings for example. As she mentions on her website, she turns this kind of shapes into “small independent sculptures that conform perfectly to the contours of the human anatomy when worn”.
I rarely dedicate an entire post to a single collection of a jewelry designer but this time I had to make an exception. I just love these creations!
