Watching Fashion Week online

I bet you already know about Fashion Week, right?

The autumn edition of 2022 has just taken place in New York, London, Milan, and Paris.

Dozens of ready-to-wear collections were presented on the runways during the last weeks of September and the first ones in October.

Real shows made a significant impression on the participants on site, as well as on the ones watching them remotely, on the internet.

I was in the second category and my experience was great.

I often think of how lucky we are today for living in a society based on technology.

We are used to live-streaming or watching videos from the comfort of our homes, as long as we have a good internet connection and the right devices for doing so.

Imagine now what it would be like to watch the catwalk shows on a big-screen TV, with cinema-like pictures and sound.

In 4K quality, with the Ambilight option turned on for an immersive experience (having LEDs on the edge of the TV that light up and change colour in perfect sync with the hues on the runway).

Because this is what The One TV from Philips offers you, being ideal for watching any kind of content.

The LED 4K UHD Android TV model with Ambilight is available in different variants when it comes to displaying diagonal, but they all promise picture clarity and cinematic sound.

Back to Fashion Week and our exercise of imagination, witnessing the shows in such a setting provides an enhanced experience.

It allows you to pay attention to every detail on the screen.

From the outstanding beauty of the venues to the amazing sets and music, or the art performances which are often part of these events, it is a mix of elements that seduces our senses and leaves us in awe.

It’s also a great opportunity to see the coming trends in terms of colours, patterns, textiles and tailoring.

A context from which to draw inspiration, even if you are not a fashion addict but love and create object design.

If you are interested in The One, the TV that has it all from Philips, check it out here.
